A Goodreads user asked Elizabeth Horton-Newton:

Hi Elizabeth I was interested to know why you joined the JFK Assassination group as I have written a book on the wider picture of Kennedy tragedies called, The Kennedy Curse: Shattered. I would like to raise awareness of the plight of the Kennedy family and am considering starting a new group. Do you have any thoughts on this and would you join such a group if I did? Thanks Les

Elizabeth Horton-Newton I joined the JFK Assassination Group for two reasons. First, I have always been interested in the Kennedy assassination and the conspiracy theories surrounding it. Second, my first full length novel is based on the idea that Lee Oswald was not killed on Nov. 24th, 1963. It is a combination of romance and historical fiction with a jolt of conspiracy thriller tossed in. Your proposed group sounds interesting as it seems the Kennedy's have had more than the usual number of tragedies. They extend well past the assassinations of the Kennedy brothers. Is your book currently available? I would certainly consider joining your group. Thanks for asking!
