Hi Martha, I enjoy your book greatly. But there is one thing wrong about it. We don't use the word "matka" the way you do. It's a very formal and official form. No child calls hers or his mother "matka". When Kasia calls for her mother she would never call her that. The right word we use is: mama, mamo or mamusiu. It sounds wrong.
