Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Sarah Hanks The book I'm currently working on is a time travel (time slip) involving a cruise and the steamboat Arabia from 1856. I got that idea from a cruise I took with my best friend. The cruise boat had a retro decor including an antique-looking mailbox. The floors also skipped from 12 to 14. Where was the 13th floor? How mysterious. This got my wheels turning and Braving Strange Waters developed.
