Did you create your own languages for The Remnant Chronicles? If not, which languages did you use? I write fantasy, and I always debate whether to use an existing language, or to make up my own, and I was wondering what your opinion on it is?

Mary E. Pearson Yes, totally made up, but I did base some of the words on the roots of other words, just as our language and words today are based on other words which change over time. The key to creating a language is writing it all down in your own dictionary of sorts so that you are consistent and so you can read your own words! I have to use my "dictionary" to interpret sometimes because I forget!
