Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Roger A. Price Hi, I don't think I have one particular favourite couple, but I do love fiction where a man and a woman have fairly equal standing as lead characters. Too often a male lead can have a Junior, or too often females are portrayed as victims. I guard against this in my writing. In my first two books (By Their Rules and A New Menace) John Burrows and Jane Lee are pretty much on par. In my new 'Badge and the Pen' series - starting with Nemesis with Vengeance coming out very soon - Vinnie Palmer and Christine Jones are very equal.
