Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Kayla Lowe Erik (the Phantom) and Christine from "The Phantom of the Opera." To me, the tale of "The Phantom of the Opera" is the most romantic, yet tragic, one ever told. I believe Erik and Christine had the truest kind of love forged through their souls since they both fell in love with one another through their voices before they ever met physically. (Unfortunately, we know how it all ended when Christine came face to face with her Angel (and if you don't, I certainly won't spoil your reading experience), however, but still, they remain my favorite fictional couple.)
