Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Stacey McCoy I'd have to say my favourite fictional couple would be Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark of the Hunger Games series. One reason being is that they have remained in my thoughts long after reading the series and to write such a memorable couple is one thing we author's aspire to do with each and every book we write. Another reason why I liked reading about this couple is I liked the way their affection for one another took time to develop and I guess that has a bit to do with their age, but Katniss always had other things going on, like trying to save her hide for one, but, Peeta, old Mr Reliable, was always there just waiting for the right time to make his move and I appreciated and respected him more for that.
