Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Mary L. Hamilton Other than Lizzie Bennet and Mr. Darcy who really weren't a couple until the end, I'd have to say Father Tim and Cynthia from the Mitford series. They're down to earth. I can vividly recall a scene from early in their marriage where they go to visit someone and she doesn't realize until afterward that she still had a curler in her hair and he never told her. I don't know why that scene sticks with me, but I chuckle every time I think of it because it seems so "right" for these two characters.
