Couple is a term that could be answered in many different ways. As a romantic couple then Lizzy Bennett and Mr Darcy are the template for so many fictional couple. Then as a duo you have Holmes and Watson - whose relationship has been retold in so many crime series under differing name and even genders. My own couple in my upcoming crime book Winter Downs are yet another version of couple in that they are sisters.
