Being an avid romance reader, I have so many! Jane Austen's works are particular favorites of mine, and aside from the obvious P & P, I have a real fondness for Miss Anne Elliot and Captain Frederick Wentworth in the JA novel, Persuasion. I love a timeless fairytale, and Anne, a 27-year-old spinster and daughter of a vain baronet living in Bath is the quintessential Cinderella; the man she pines for, Captain Wentworth, could easily be Prince Charming, a hero any woman would swoon over. And while circumstances might keep them apart, Miss Austen always delivers a satisfactory ending. :-)
