May Freighter
I think Cat and Bones from the Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost. They make a great couple who start off on the wrong foot. When I was reading that series, I couldn't put her books down. There was chemistry, well developed characters with intriguing pasts, action, and a lot of romance, too.
