Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Heather Young My favorite fictional couple will always be Jo and Laurie from LITTLE WOMEN. I still curse Louisa May Alcott for keeping them apart! The good Professor Bauer could never satisfy my fiery idol Jo, and there's no way Laurie could ever be happy with flighty Amy. Between that and the fate of poor Beth, Louisa left wounds on my heart that will never heal.
