“There is absolutely nothing monstrous about being a vampire. In fact, it's quite beautiful.”

“Lance, cut Jaylynn to stretch her out, to get the baby away from this new mommy, with the same pair of dull school scissors. At that time, he took the helpless baby away from her, and said that he was going to get rid of it… and there was nothing she could do to stop it. Furthermore, he just let Jaylynn there sitting on the toilet to bleed to death, I guess that is when she had enough pain, and not long after that, she cut her wrist… and I lost two girls… to the curse of the Tower!
Maybe that is when my struggle with affection began. Raged Lance or as I called him walked away, but later that year he put a rifle in his mouth, and he blew his brains, and other things, all over his bedroom walls, on a life-size poster of my little daughter.”
― Nevaeh The Cursed

“Hold onto my fire heart,
kindling its wilful embers
in the glaring grey night.
Winter's chill has set in,
biting us with bitterness
and dousing our fire.”

Birth is merely the beginning of sin.
We are the compost of a thousand lives.”

“Three-Ring Circus by Stewart Stafford
First love's doubtless light,
Blinded with scorching might,
What little a cloudy eye allows,
Passion's seal on supple brows.
Resplendent in our united phase.
Love's incandesence in full blaze,
No one else existed, gazes locked,
Past emptiness, amnesia-blocked.
Now we pass on a muted, wintry street,
Joyless crime, sounds of splashing feet,
Pained awareness, eyes to the ground,
Mourners part bereft of sorrow's sound.
