I like to read because it's peaceful and it allows me to relax. I don't know about other people, but the reasons I love reading are: - You travel to other places, other worlds, other dimentions even, all from the comfort of your sofa/bed/chair/floor. - You get to "live" a thousand different lives and "experience" all sorts of feelings without even moving. - You LEARN stuff. Lots of stuff. - You develop feelings and learn about other people's feelings without hurting anyone. - It widens your horizons, broadens your mind and gives you a whole new perspective on life.
Reading is one of life's great pleasure and I think the people who don't like reading are people who have never tried.
