1) I've had this account since I was in middle school. MIDDLE SCHOOL. Lord knows what I was even doing or reading back then, haha, so please bear that in mind while looking at my old reviews.
2) I find it hard to translate ineffable feelings like "this wasn't the best book ever but made my heart happy" and "this is a 'good' story but not my kind of thing" onto a five-star scale. I don't always rate books and when I do, it's purely out of enjoyment rather than "literary merit" (whatever that even means anyway).
