I'm open to all genres and you definitely don't have to keep it contained to any or all of these parameters. I'm just trying to find some books to accompany me on this journey. Thanks in advance! ...more

Rating Scale and notes on ratings:
5 - GREAT!!!!! You should read this. 4 - Really good! There were issues but still worth a read. 3 - Depends. If it's on my disappointment shelf it probably got 3 stars because I was expecting more and I'm bitter. If it's not on my disappointment shelf, it's good! It just wasn't the best thing I've ever read. 2 - Not a good book at all. 1 - Typically... This book transcended being bad and offended me in an irredeemable way. These books may not be poorly written or "bad books" but they're bad in a moral sense and I don't like that at all. (But occasionally I'll give a book a 1 that I just didn't enjoy)
* I tend not to rate YA above a 3. 3 for a YA is really good, 2 is okay, and 1 is terrible. I just don't enjoy the genre so rating above a 3 never feels right....more
