I love intense love stories with powerful, emotionally broken or deeply devoted heroes, the kind of men who are strong, loyal, a little dangerous or a little grumpy, and absolutely obsessed with the heroine. I enjoy tension, chemistry, slow-burn moments, and those scenes where the hero’s control slips because of how much he wants her.
I read a lot of mafia romance (Neva Altaj, Danielle Lori, etc.), but it doesn’t have to be mafia only. I also love romances like Liz Tomforde’s books, with protective athletes, dual POV, amazing chemistry, and emotional depth.
If you know any books (or audiobooks!) with this vibe, obsessive or devoted heroes, strong heroines, power dynamics, slow burn, and lots of chemistry, I’d love your recommendations!
