I want to read a book like The Seas by samantha hunt. Magical Realism that is very strange, sparse, and lonely, and also beautiful and heavily metaphoric. Something shorter is preffered- maybe under 300 pages.

Some random person on the back of the book bird says 'a nerve scraped raw on every page' which is how I like it. I love nature, especially to read about how dark forests make us look at our souls, and I love to find a book that almost no one has heard of before, and devour it like a secret....more
