I'm looking for books like The Queen's Thief by Megan Whalen Turner Fire and Thorn Trilogy by Rae Carson Mistborn Trilogy I guess Iron Fey by Julie Kagawa though it's too young for my taste. or fantasy novels that have war or esp. inner court intrigues. High Fantasy is good but even just a vague impression of magic like in Queen's Thief will be fine. I just can't get enough of books that focus on court intrigues. Throne Ascension, Betreyal, Assasinations, War strategies, Political Marriage. I guess it has a little bit of everything so it's very tough to look for them in a one genre. Esp. love the Fire and Thorn trilogy because the protagonist is female and powerful in magic and political maneuvering. Like Irene in Queen of Attolia? with a little bit of romance....more
