Help me find this sci fi series please! A long time ago. (15 or so years ago) when I was in elementary school I stumbled upon a science fiction series which I would like to finish! If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it very much. Some of the details I recall are
Crash landed on a planet. A genetically superior race controls most of the planet (I believe they are the ones that crashed) Superior genetic advanced babies are implanted with cybernatic enchancements. (I want to say the name of this group starts with an S)
Another group on the planet opposes them. Hence the conflict.
The technology on this planet is very low for the most part. But knowledge of superior technology exists (ex. they use muskets. but machine guns exist in very small quantities)
One of the plot lines I recall is a man blinding himself because he commited incest by accident.
And a women allowing herself to be raped and then killing her assailant so get his genetic material.
