I recently had to write an artist's statement for a photography contest and I feel lik it pretty much covers anything anyone needs to know about me~~~
"I love stories. Whether it’s a novel, or a movie, or a song, a painting or a doodle, there are stories everywhere. In imagery and in real life. I enjoy writing, painting, scribbling, and daydreaming. I’m always conjuring a story from my imagination. But the best part is that I don’t always have to look within to find the story. Sometimes the best stories are found all around us. And that’s when I like to take pictures. Thirty-something, married, kids. I rarely leave home without either my notebook or my camera. On good days I have both."
