My favorite at the moment is Blacksad, Vol. 1 although I was lukewarm about volume 4.
I am willing to try something new, and this Cabbie sound the right stuff.

Mohammed Abdikhader Firdhiye (mohammedaosman) The Cabbie sounds a bit like my alltime fav comic series Torpedo. Over the top take on american culture, pimps, whores, thieves etc

I would recommended Torpedo for best noir humor, Criminals: Lawless arc for best heist noir ala Parker.

Just read Abuli/Bernet and several series by Ed Brubaker like Gotham Central, Criminals,Scene of the Crime.

I hope Cabbie is in print, just because its Spanish i will call by comics shop :)
