Confused... Please help!

so it seems it was all planned by Catherine or what we are led to believe. Sophia is Catherine's child she was forced to give up and never knew. Sophia then married a Burke, who's family is part of the revenge plan.

I found you really need to pay attention to the small details b/c that's where you'll find the info that connects the dots.

Please help me figure out the impossible right quick???? So what I think is that Claire is on the island at the end and Tony shows up there with her????

I had thought that Convicted would be the result of Tony getting caught, especially since the book was going to go to press. But since she has not had the baby yet in the island scene (and I believe Tony is with her); I don't think the book release had taken place. Maybe she is able to get it stopped before so that he is protected. Hopefully Catherine is caught and the one that is 'convicted'.

I think Catherine has been the one to actually kill all of them, Tony might have plotted to destroy their lives - but I don't think he orchestrated any of the murders.

I think Phil helped get Tony to Claire - the FBI showing up may have been a false agent to get him; since Claire realized that he was a target as well. Even though Claire is gone - she is still a Nichols and is carrying a child that is part of the vendetta, she is so not in the clear. But his plane went down - he was missing, not dead.

But...I am thinking that Eric might play something into the story in book 3 - he was so close to Tony that he can't be completely in the dark with Catherine. I had halfway expected Brent to be working undercover.

O god please helo me too! Lol I got so confused in the end too I thought phil would be the one with claire and I didnt know what to think I also thought it had to be tony because she is madly in love with him even with the problems they have had in the past. Now I always suspected catherine since the end of the book consequences because shes the one that takes care of the house. Idk that was just a thought I had.

I was/am confused about the FBI involvement...why would they protect/hide Tony? He didn't/wouldn't "out" Catherine after all he's done to protect her--and her grabbing of the Sophia Rossi Burke file at the end shows she's free as a bird. What could Claire have possibly told Mark Evergreen as the "truth" that wouldn't make Tony a bad guy? I don't get it.

No Monica. Catherine gave Sophia up for adoption. Burke is not bad but he is not a direct descendent of the Burke that helped convict Tonys father. But Burke is related to Tonys other staff lady, remember she was the niece of the targeted Burke not the daughter so that is why Tony helped her....make sense

Tony is definitely involved in the murders. The only thing that has blindsided Tony is Catherine's crazy vendetta which includes Tony even though he's protected her all these years.

I have to say, I suspected Catherine from the beginning. Something about her just never sat well with me. I mean seriously, she puts on this act of motherly and loving and supportiveness towards Claire however she is the only one in the house with access to the recordings from Claire's suite and know's exactly what Anthony is doing to her yet she does nothing and continues to encourage Claire to be with the abusive man. Seriously?! She was obviously not right in the head.

I wondered from the beginning what could make her so loyal to Anthony that she would look past his abuse and I just could not see any plausible reason. My conclusion...the bitch was bat shit crazy!!!

I just had a crazy thought... what if Claire & Tony were able to give the author the story of Catherine's deceit in place of his Kidnapping her? This would blind side Catherine and put out all the dirt. I am holding out hope that Tony didn't kill her parents but didn't realize that Catherine did. He ruined her sister by ruining her husband's job...he ruined Claire by sending her to jail. I don't/can't believe he could do it....
