I'll come up with a better system for choosing books in the future, but for now - let's just go hog wild and suggest them here.

We're already going to read Stardust together, and I'd like to pick 2-3 more to read together in JUNE, JULY and AUGUST. Then we'll pick a new selection of books for Fall.

Everyone suggest a few books (for a category let's go with "books we should have read by now") and I'll pick the most popular ones to be our summer group reads.

My other suggestions with be:

-The 5th Wave
-The Knife of Never Letting Go

Julie (HomeWithMyBookshelf) (homewithmybookshelf) | 1 comments The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt and The art of Fielding by Chad Harbach. Certainly books that have resided on my tbr for too long.

Mat | 41 comments Pride and prejudice (Been on my TBR and I'm sure others for a loooong time...)

Tove (tovemaria) | 6 comments Oh I would love to read The Knife of Never Letting Go! It's been on my tbr for several years...!
I'll Give You the Sun is a cute contemporary book that I have wanted to read for a long time, and so is Eleanor and Park, Since You've Been Gone and any of Sarah Dessen's books :)
I've read two of Sarah's books before, and they just give me such summer feelings

message 7: by Trudy (new)

Trudy (trudybecker) | 7 comments I also agree on The Knife of Never Letting Go and I'll Give You the Sun. And for a Sarah Dessen, I still somehow haven't read The Truth About Forever.
