Debra (debra_t) | 6542 comments Here I am, starting with A Walk to Remember. I'm using this for my love song and in my spine poetry.

Completed tasks

1. Silly Love Song. A Walk to Remember
A walk to remember down Lucy lane,
Tears shed in her gold lion's mane.
Her light will shine until the end of time,
Bright eyes speaking of a soul sublime.
In Heaven's stars above,
She will bask in our love,
Again at the Rainbow Bridge,
On a sunny, grassy ridge.

Extra 5 points

2. Puppy Love. The Cat Who Went to Paris.

3. Love at First Bite. Halfway to the Grave.

4. If love was a storybook, we'd meet on the very first page. Read a romance book that reminds you of a fairytale. (not necessarily a retelling of a fairytale) OR a horror book that reminds you of a nightmare. I used the horror nightmare for Slippin' into Darkness.

5. The Heart Wants What the Heart Wants. The Demon Lover.

6. Love at First Bite. Third Grave Dead Ahead.

7. If love was a storybook, we'd meet on the very first page. The Princess Bride.

8. Silly Love Song. Fourth Grave Beneath My Feet.

Fourth grave beneath my feet
Who'd think you'd be such a cheat
One body, two body, three body, four
Men! They can be such a bore!

Extra 5 points.

I've started & finished my first book, while keeping half an eye on the rugby (3 all at half time). In all honesty it was about as in depth as Peter & Jane (although it was Adam & Chloe) and very large type. Like seriously, 18 point. My granny would have loved it. Now I know why the librarian looked at me very strangely when I picked it up.

I will put books on my toppler shelf: http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/...

1 - Never Let Me Go by Toni Anders - Love at first sight.
2 - Keep Me Close by Clare Francis - You'd Think That People Would Have Had Enough of Silly Love Songs (and bad verse posted)
3 - Mary Anne by Daphne du Maurier - First Comes Love, Then Comes Marriage, Then Comes Junior in a Baby Carriage
4 - I Want You To Want Me by Kathy Love - Love at First Bite
5 - The Mystery of the Blue Train by Agatha Christie - It’s a Nice Day for a White Wedding (woman in evening dress on the cover)
6 - Mistress by Amanda Quick - Words of Love (some wooing happens)
7 - Reckless by Amanda Quick - If love was a storybook, we'd meet on the very first page (although it's more Arthurian romance than fairy tale)
8 - White Rose Ensnared by Juliet Hastings - Love Stinks, read a book with some hot sex!
9 - Second Sight by Amanda Quick - Love at First Sight main character is a psychic or medium

Poem posted, comprising (in order) books 2, 6, 3, 1
And that'll be me done.

It physically was 300 pages, but really that can only have been ~ 100 if they'd used proper sized print! And was tissue paper thin.

Also, rugby not that good...

I haven't read it, and based on the synopsis....

I think that the best fit will be Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Yeah Yeah Read a book where someone does something extreme in the name of love or lust. This can be awe-inspiring or disturbing.

BUT

The Heart Wants What the Heart Wants Read a book where a character wants something/someone they cannot obtain.

might fit as well.

jaxsnmom will have the final say.

Good job! Don't forget to edit msg 17 to add your Gone Girl read when you are finished.

Sharon - there's no doing it wrong. As long as you can tell us why you think a book fits a certain task, that works.

The Song of Achilles could fit several tasks. Crazy Little Thing Called Loved works (view spoiler), and even though it's not a YA book, I'll accept it for First Love since they are teens when they fall in love and it is a first and only love for each of them. You can choose either task.
