@Lorie: Do you prefer if we've read the book we nominate so it's easier for everyone to discuss or would it be better if it's a true group read where no ones read it beforehand? Just want to be clear this up so I don't waste my nomination.
@Lorie: Would you prefer the books(s) we nominate to be a certain number of pages or can the be novellas?
Natalie I do not think there has ever been a certain number of pages. We have read a few short books and a few long ones.
I also don't think we have ever said it has to be a book you have not read, if you really liked a book and thought the group would too, I see no reason why you can not nominate it.

@Loire: Ok. Thanks. Will you have a new theme for December or can we still nominate holiday-type books if they go with the theme?
Also, I am not saying this against anyone, we just have never had a rule for this, but if both book reads have the same theme, like Christmas, maybe we should have a rule that you can not pick the same book for both reads. That away we do not end up reading the same book for both reads? I wonder what your feelings are on this?
A Pioneer Christmas Collection: 9 Stories of Finding Shelter and Love in a Wintry Frontier by Kathleen Fuller and numerous other authors.
According to Random.org, next month's group read will be...2. Call Me Mrs. Miracle by Debbie Macomber!
Thanks for nominating, Kate :) I read this book a while back and it's a pretty sweet story.
I will post soon. I have been in the hospital with my son all week and just got an e-mail from Diane about doing it. So give me a little while thanks!
