I'm going to start with

It would make ME hungry!

Hope reading will make you feel better!

Pragya, Hope you feel better soon! Maybe a cozy day with a book will help you feel better. : )
I am reading The Outsiders and In the Beauty of the Lilies. I really planned to dash out and buy two small Christmas gifts for next week, but I may wait until Monday when the stores aren't so crowded. Of course, the real reason is that I don't want to miss the Toppler!!

Connie - good to see you have your priorities straight! And that you're taking the time for yourself to join us :)

Sarah when you get to Agatha entering the Quiche contest (view spoiler)

It finishes off my A-Z challenge in another Goodreads group (Goodreads Choice Awards).
It is snowing here; wicked storm :-)

Oh, Marnie! I understand now. I should have figured that out!! How funny! It sounds like a delightful book. I have added it to my tbr and Cherie's book, too. Cherie always finds the most interesting books!!

Hi Casceil,
Yes, I saw it in the other thread and was going to comment the same thing. I have to admit that I am finding it a bet of a meh story. Some of her lines are pretty entertaining though, like the one about slipping the skins off of the peaches like a woman shrugging off a thin coat.
I just got back from running my granddaughter to the light rail station and to the library to return some DVDs. Back to reading!

Have fun, everyone!

Hi Connie and Marnie *waving*.

Hi Cathie,
Brrr. Looks like you picked the right book??? :) Brrr 10 F and snowing.

Hi Pragya,
I hope you are feeling a little better by now. I see your book title may be fitting for how you feel. :) Hope it turns out WELL!!!

Off to Seattle now- good thing I can read on the ferry. I will check back in tonight. Stay out of trouble until I get back... Or save me a seat :)

Hope everyone is enjoying their books - sounds like it's the perfect day for reading for those who have snow. No snow in the UK unfortunately - it's quite mild.

Hi Kirila,
Sounds like you had a fun day. Your book title makes me smile. Can't beat Ms. Christie for a book to settle down with after a great day.

Hi Alexandra,
Have a good time with your book.

Hi Sarah,
Enjoy the weather while it is nice. I hope you have a great evening reading too!

Alexandra, we put up and decorated our Christmas tree today too. I am feeling kind of festive now :)
Sarah, is it raining and blowing a gale in your part of the UK? It is where I am so I am really glad that I am curled up in a chair reading! Really wish it would snow but I don't think it's going to.
Right, back to reading. Enjoy your books everyone!

Hi Lisa, it´s true, the tree makes everything more festive (and serious as there is still so much to do before christmas) :-)
Is it mild in the UK as well? Over here the weather forecast says that there probably won´t be a white christmas...

Sounds cozy. Who needs that "white stuff" anyway :-)

I'm really enjoying my book. It's a quick read. Dinner's out the way now so I can get back to reading again.

I went Christmas shopping, unpacked and organized it all, put stew on to cook, and figured I had a half hour left before the toppler started. It had already started 3-1/2 hours ago!
No, Travis, I cannot blame it on the wine. But I think I'll crack open a bottle to ease my disappointment in being late to the party!
I'm going to read The Tenth Chamber which is the T book for my alphabet.

I might get a second book done during the Toppler.
Had nachos as a snack break which is making me sleepy, and having stayed up too late the night before with cocktails and conversation, isn't helping.
♫Happy Birthday to You!♫ dear Cherie ♫Happy Birthday to You!♫ !

I wondered when you posted earlier about going out and getting soem things done, but then I figured you wanted to get them out of the way and start the Toppler with no interruptions. I suppose you'll have to start calculating the time beforehand like our across-the-pond'ers :D
