I'm trying to figure out which cover mock-up I like best for an e-novella I am working on. The story will be a prequel to Maybe Baby, the novel I hope to release in March, and it's told from the POV of Mads, the Danish furnituremaker who turns Laney's head. He's at a crossroads in his life and then he meets Laney.

I voted and picked 2. He is awfully pretty and looks like a real romance cover boy, not the Kmart Ad models a lot of IR gets stuck with. At least I own up to being as superficial as puddle. ;)

Um, I like # 2 so much--- he's on the cover of my next novella I'm self pubbing in 2014. Durn--I was hoping nobody would come across him. He's totally intense and hot though, so I can't fault anybody for wanting him. :)

I picked #2 too. When I voted #1 was winning. I just liked he intensity of his face and I think the torso cover is overdone.

BTW, Kim, LOVE the cover of your . The title font and the graphics across her back look almost like a tattoo.

I went with Cover 1, but he does kinda look like he is picking his nose.

Lol! My husband said the same thing. I am looking for another image of the same model. I saw some a few days ago where he's posed differently. One nice thing about working as a copywriter for a cosmetics company: access to royalty-free images at company discount. :)

Sorry Kim, I wasn't a big fan of either one. :| But if the third option wasn't there I would have gone for #1. Cover #2 guy was kind of creepy looking to me...

I'm looking for a few more photo options. :) I want a model who looks as close as possible to how I envisioned Mads. :)
