1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?Racine, Wisconsin - about halfway between Milwaukee and Chicago.
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
Too hard too choose! Probably the Scott Pilgrim books.

Once "bedtime" hits, I'm switching over to graphic novels, and I have Scott Pilgrim and Lumberjanes waiting for me.

A few, but nothing major. Mostly just pets wanting attention, which I can accommodate while reading!

How much time I could waste on the social media parts of it if I don't watch myself!
Readathon time again!!! This will be my third Readathon, and I can't wait - they've become my two favorite days of the year! See you all in two weeks!

Prepped and ready for #deweyjuly! Snacks are bought, soda is chilling, library holds are in. I can't do the full 24 hours this time around, but I'll do my best!
Sure! Right now, the stack includes:Short story collections:
Many Bloody Returns
Songs of Love and Death: All-Original Tales of Star-Crossed Love
Mean Streets
Strange Brew
Comics for tired eyes:
Lumberjanes: Bonus Tracks
Get Jiro!
Get Jiro: Blood and Sushi
The Dresden Files: Fool Moon, Volume 1
Jim Butcher's Dresden Files: Wild Card #1
Audiobook:
The Glass Key
And if all of of that fails me, I could also chip away at The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman, which I'm reading for the 2-Dork Book Club that my friend and I created to get us through the Books We Should Have Read By Now.
I like options! LOL
Jana wrote: "Sure! Right now, the stack includes:Short story collections:

Great list! My main focus is going to be comics/graphic novels this time around.
I'm always looking for comic recommendations - got any favorites? I love Lumberjanes, Paper Girls, Rat Queens, you know, nerdy fantasy/sci-fi without actual superheroes LOL
Jana wrote: "I'm always looking for comic recommendations - got any favorites? As well as Goldie Vance, Monstress, The Guild (Felicia Day's comic!), and Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. And Saga! I'm pretty new to comics myself. I love Lumberjanes, Nimona, and The Guild!
Jana wrote: "Felicia Day has a comic??? To the TBR with you! LOL"Yes! The Guild! Based on the webseries! Which is (or maybe was?) on Netflix!
Taking a break to do some posting and some cheering after 2 hours, so now's as good of a time as any for my opening survey:Opening Survey
1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?
Racine, Wisconsin, on the shores of Lake Michigan
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
Many Bloody Returns
3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
Fairy food and buffalo chicken dip! (Not together. Ew. LOL)
4) Tell us a little something about yourself!
I have a 5.5 year old Labrador who is the very center of my world, and he's recently been diagnosed with cancer. I'm a mess, and it's all I can think about anymore, so this readathon is helping me occupy my mind with something positive, which is sorely needed.
5) This is our VERY first Reverse Readathon! How does it feel in your time zone?
Strange, honestly, but I'm kind of loving it so far.
It's a little after midnight CST, and my tiredness is turning into a headache. My husband and dog are asleep next to me, and I'm going to join them. To be continued in the morning!
