The Tapper Twins Tear Up New York by Geoff Rodkey
How's It Going? Conferring with Student Writers by Carl Anderson
Confetti Girl by Diana Lopez
I Survived the Japanese Tsunami by Lauren Tarshis
The Million Dollar Goal by Dan Gutman
and last week, I started reading Anna Karenina (Tolstoy)

Most of these are middle-grade fiction. It's hard to compare different genres to come up with a favorite, but I really enjoyed The Tapper Twins (fantastically funny), and A Night Divided (serious, reflective historical fiction).

Another book by Holly Black, The Coldest Girl in Coldtown, is one of my all time favorite books. Such a great author. :)

My favorites so far are all part of the Finishing School Series by Gail Carriger.

Just finishing My One Hundred Adventures which is the book before Northward to the Moon - Polly Hovarth

I read mostly YA and Juvenile Fiction this January....
I finished Everything, Everything, Circus Mirandus, Lost in the Sun, and Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane.

I love realistic although I do enjoy fantasy. I can't choose a favorite because all of them were good in their own way. I will say Everything, Everything left me feeling so many different emotions. It's a book that will stick with me for a while! However, Edward may be on my all time top ten!
