District Two is one of the wealthier districts. They specialize in masonry. All the peacekeepers are trained here. Furthermore, all weapons are manufactured here as well as things cut from stone and brick. After the rebellion, District Two was rewarded due to their loyalty to the Capitol. They were given better living quarters and a decent amount of trust from the Capitol itself. They live in small villages. Each village is centered around a quarry. Although District Two is favored by the Capitol, they are not excluded from the Hunger Games. District Two takes the Hunger Games very seriously. They train their tributes in a special academy until they are eighteen, then they volunteer. District Two is one of the career districts.
