Ok i read it. And i kinda have to agree With Sylveon, its probably the best scenario.

So Yuki was wandering through the town, which she was completely unfamiliar with. She, somehow, found the Blacksmith. As she looked at all the weapons and such she got really excited. And that's when Rystar's dad met her. She was young when she met him, so naturally the first thing he asked her was where were her parents. So she told him that they were dead. He eventually told her that she can stay with them, as long as she helps around the Blacksmith.

How does that sound?

Seeing as her father died when she was about 4, i'd say she lived on her own for about a year before she met Rystar's father. So she would of been around 5 when she met him?
