Thanks for this. I'd never heard of Zeruya Shalev before and it seems I've been missing out. Hoping to get a hold of Love Life or Thera if anyone's game for a buddy read.
Love Life remains one of my all-time-favourites! I think of it regularily and I read it a couple of years ago - it's that good. I'm thinking of re-reading Husband and Wife as my first book of 2015, I think I didn't really understand it at 18.
I have all of her books that have been translated; definitely hope to get to her sometime this coming year, so I'm up for any group reads as well.
I think it would be a good plan to read Love Life first, then Husband and Wife. There's a third one that loosely belongs with those two but I can't remember the title at all and I'm only writing from my phone so I can't check and it might be too much... So how about we settle on Love Life for a start?
October works for me.
Only thing is: if we wait till then, are we only going to read one of her novels? I'd be up for reading more, if others are.

I am up for more than just one. Thera appeals to me, as well as Love Life and Husband and Wife and also The Remains of Love... So anything she has written, I would be open for. You own Husband and Wife and Thera, Proustitute, is that correct?
