Does someone want to read and comment this book with me during Christmas? It's a horror anthology book with 12 stories. Maybe we could read a story per day and talk about it :) from 21st of December for example?

There is no way I should even be looking at anything with the words"buddy read." There's a lot going on for me BUT!! LET'S DO IT! Lol. Can we start before the 21st? For this book to only have 12 stories, the page count is really high.

So we're starting on the 18th, reading one story per day or do you want maybe to have 2 days for the longest stories?? or we can start with the idea of one story/day and see how it goes and just decide along the way...

Ghostland by Duncan Ralston is really good, I’m reading John Connolly’s Charlie Parker series. They are the darkest books I’ve ever read. They are good but if the next one contains as much child abuse as this one, I may quit the series. Seasons Creepings by Ronald Kelly, Christmas horror.

Ghostland and Season’s Creepings are being read in the GR group Castle Dracula and Charlie Parker is being read by me & some friends in Horror Aficionados.

sooo, what do you think about the terrors? I guess the first one is ok but maybe too cheesy for my taste hehe. I enjoyed the second one more

i think the same about the first. I'm reading the second one after my movie.

I'm not sure what to think about it. I thought it was one then then the (eye roll) soulmate BS then vampires? it was kind of mess.

Finished terror 2. I liked it better but it sure was depressing.

I agree. For me Colden gives too many explanations at the end, and the story turns this way from creepy to just drama.

Question, do we need to use spoiler tags here in the buddy reads?

I'm not sure. I'm thinking if people looking at the post it's because they read the chapters at the time?

Terror 3 is really sad hehe I'm gonna start now with the 4th one, let's see what happens

I agree, if we are looking then we probably just finished a story. I wouldn’t worry about it. I’m gonna read the 3rd one in a little bit.

Story 3- that just broke my heart. I don't know how I would or could live without my sister.

I liked terror 4 and I enjoyed the crossover hehe it seems that we might have some more along the book. However I found that the end of the story is too long, as if the author always tries clarify the story too much at the end, i don't know. But anyway, this terror is the one that I've enjoyed the most so far

Half way through terror 4. maybe he should look up Lamia's name... I know what they are but being in Pennsylvania is funny.

Lamia’s were Ancient Greek (I think) beings.

never mind hahah i misunderstood!!! :P I didn't remember that the story was placed in Pennsylvania and thought that you were from Pennsylvania and that there was something called Lamia there and that's why it was funny hehe

I´m kind of curious know to read about what happened in London. I guess it would be werevolves-Willa related...

I didn´t like horror 6, I found it boring. Moreover, if I were Willa I would definitely leave Santa after knowing that my duties would be making cookies for all eternity. She's vampire now, travel the world alone and kill some people!!hehe. And besides that, what was that about Willa being a distraction if she accompanied Santa on Christmas´s eve? Maybe they could have worked together as a team delivering the presents instead of seeing Willa as a distraction or a mere companion, right? i didn't like this story hehe
