What book have you read that is mostly or entirely outdoors? Do you know where it took place?

Ive read ‘The Bear’ by Claire Cameron before and it takes place outdoors under the narration of a little girl trying to keep her and her brother alive after her parents were attacked by bears. I think she’s only 5 or 6 so sometimes what she’s thinking/seeing is portrayed as such, but such a good read!

Jillypenny Last year, I read The Troop by Nick Cutter. It's a horror novel about a Scout troop who travels to a small island to camp and something bad is on the island with them. It takes place in the wilderness of Maritime Canada.

Ellie I read “The Island” by C. L. Taylor for this challenge. It’s set on an uninhabited island in Thailand, so I think it fits really well!

So, so very good. I really loved this one. If I was allowing myself re-reads, I would read The Hunger Games ..."
