What book have you read about do-overs or fresh starts? Do you know what the character was having a fresh start from?

Riley Dunn | 3 comments What I Carry is a great story about a young foster girl starting over for the 20th time in a new place. Very happy read!

Megan I read The Trauma Cleaner by Sarah Krasnostein. It is about a woman who runs an industrial business cleaning business. The book highlights all her fresh starts, as well as how she helps move clients towards a new start.

Lisa Morrow | 37 comments I plan to read the classic, 'Jane Eyre.' It's on my Kindle, and I've been intending on reading it for awhile.

Caitlin | 2 comments Really enjoyed “The Two Lives of Lydia Bird” by Josie Silver and it really fits for this prompt

Kelly Macfarlane | 7 comments Kate Atkinson, Life after Life (woman, ca 2nd world war, keeps reliving her life, )

Claire North, The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August -- Harry August relives his life (15 times) and remembers everything each time.

Both very different approaches -- the protagonist in Life After Life doesn't know what's up but sometimes perceives echos of previous lives, enabling a do-over/ fresh start; Harry August, however, is one of those quasi-immortals who live, die, and are born again to their exact life, and remember their previous lives, allowing fresh starts each time.

Rose (rlevenson) | 34 comments I read The Dating Plan by Sara Desai. Yes! The protagonist was having a do-over from when she was ditched at her prom 10 years prior. Such a fast and fun read. Highly recommend!

Shannon (srcolvin) | 40 comments I read Nine Perfect Strangers. Although, a lot of people have mentioned this book as a prompt for a locked room mystery, after reading it I decided it fit this prompt easily. Just about every character was searching for "rejuvenation" or "revitalization" during the story.

Allyce (allycereadsbooks) I read Some Kind of Wonderful by Giovanna Fletcher. MC has a do-over trying to rediscover herself after a long-term relationship break up. 3 stars

Leah Still | 23 comments I read Mum & Dad by Joanna Trollope. The book deals with the fall-out when the 'Dad', a vineyard owner, has a stroke, and how this brings about changes for both him and his family in terms of where they live, their work and their marriages.

I’m using ‘Not the Girl You Marry’ by Andie J Christopher, which has both of the main characters trying a fresh new relationship.

Kimberly | 28 comments I just finished Pretty Little Wife by Darby Kane. I think I’m the end this book could fit this category. She does get a chance for a fresh start. 😜
