Whether it's ancient Greek drama or Shakespeare, this prompt is all about reading plays.

message 2: by Pinar (new)

Pinar Celebi (pinuccia) I decided to read "Wasps, Lysistrata and Other Plays" by Aristophanes for this prompt.

Lana | 7 comments I'm also thinking of picking up Lysistrata. It's been sitting on my shelf for a long time. I might also read some Shakespeare, probably Twelfth Night.

message 4: by Laura (new)

Laura Normand | 2 comments I'm definitely going to pick up the Oresteia! I've read all of Agamemnon and fragments of the other plays in classics courses, but I'm excited to read them all in their entirety.

message 5: by Amanda (new)

Amanda | 5 comments I would like to read Sophocles, specifically his non-Theban plays. I read the Theban plays (or Oedipus cycle) last year. Now my goal is to complete the rest.

Gabe Wolfe (gabewolfe) | 5 comments The Oresteia, Aeschylus.

David Wiley | 5 comments I'm 99% certain that I will be reading Everyman for this prompt!

Connor Stompanato (connorstompanato) | 6 comments Not sure if I'll actually get to it but I just picked up Medea and Other Plays by Euripides so it's an option

message 9: by Fran (new)

Fran I'm going the obvious route for this prompt and picking Shakespeare. I think I'll pick up Julius Ceasar first, but maybe I can also get to Macbeth.

message 10: by Kristin (new)

Kristin Klaus | 5 comments I am going with the obvious as well, Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice".
