Please suggest books for the diversity topic we will cover in December.

There was a tie so please suggest books that would fit under the theme/topic of Historical Event and/or Gender Stereotypes. Also, share which it falls under.

You have till 11/25/21.

Michaela | 187 comments Others: Imperium: A Novel of Ancient Rome by Robert Harris, about Cicero´s life.

There are lots of historical novels of course, but they´re all very long.
One I´ll be reading next month (or over two months) which is "only" 600 page, is The Reckoning by Sharon Kay Penman about the Welsh-English history in the 13th century.

The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead (perhaps already read by the group?)

Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe (same?)
