I'm now reading The Carnivorous Lamb by Agustin Gomez-Arcos

message 4: by Douglas (new)

Douglas Gibson | 1 comments I try to pick a few M/M romances to red in Feb, but Barbra's 960 memoir has me getting off to a late start! First up is a YA book focusing on a trans boy, called, "The Feeling of Falling in Love. I am 100 pages in and have yet to fall in love with it yet, but hoping it gets better. After this is Red, White, and Royal Blue. Made the mistake of watching the movie first and loving it, so now I have to read the book. (In my denfse, I never watch the movie first, but after reading, "Boyfriend Material," and a few other popular M/M romances and not really liking much about them, I thought R, W, and RB, would be more of the same, but I adored the movie!!

Charlie Spring | 84 comments I'm reading The Grace Yearby Kim Liggett and it's a really good book! It's not an LGBTQ+ book (but maybe it is actually, I just began) but it's a VERY feminist book.

message 7: by Lauren (new)

Lauren McNicol | 1 comments I’m reading “as good as dead” the third book of the good girls guide to murder series. So far so good! This is my 10th book of 2024 🥹

I'm also reading the series A Good Girl's Guide To Murder (the first volume) but I'm focused more about The Grace Year because I borrowed it in a library and I have to return this book in the end of the month.

message 9: by Rhiannon (new)

Rhiannon (currentlyrhiding) | 34 comments I'm currently reading an advanced copy of An Education in Malice by S.T. Gibson, which is my 19th book of the year! The actual pub date is in 2 days, so I figured I ought to get it in while my copy could still be considered advanced. 😅

KateLynn Luzier | 20 comments I'm kind of straddling four books.

I Feed Her to the Beast and the Beast Is Me
My leisure read that may take me a little while, but would totally recommend to this book club!

The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict: What Everyone Needs to Know?
What we're currently reading in the Diversity, Equity, and Anti-Racist Literature (DEAL) book club that I am a member of.

Smoke
Part of my Neighborly Book Exchange where we trade books every month.

The Slab
I'm reading this for my husband because the Gears of War video game franchise is very near to his heart.

message 21: by Kim (new)

Kim Barke | 2 comments If you haven’t already read it, check out https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2.... STR8 Up Queer Africa. It’s a collection of short stories and essays by an award-winning transmasculine playwright. It’s heart-wrenching and unflinching in its honesty.

I've had my eye on Project Hail Mary for awhile, and just picked it up from the library! Very excited to check it out based off the short blurb for it! :)
