Aurélie (lilyloo0511) | 2 comments I nominate : 8 Lives of a Century-Old Trickster. I would love to read this one with the group! (For WL)

Would also gladly read The Enlightenment of the Greenage Tree that Jen R. proposed.

(I would also gladly re-read the Art of losing. I have it in French, read it when it came out a few years ago.)

Mj | 260 comments it's quite the Women's Fiction Long List - authors from so many countries and cultures.

I'd like to nominate Nightbloom by Peace Adzo Medie, a female author from Ghana and would be happy to lead discussion if this book is selected.

This book is about childhood female friendship and bonds, class, race and its impact on life in Ghana and the U.S. particularly on women that can transforms lives. Particularly if silenced, by choice or not, events can be harmful and perceived and remembered differently. A story to teach us and also to warm our hearts.

8 Lives of a Century-Old Trickster has already been nominated, so I won’t add it again. Would you care to nominate another for either category?

It is! I’ve added quite a few to my shelf already, but will wait until I see what gets voted into the group read so I can save that one for June. I’m looking forward to seeing what the group chooses.

Polls will open tomorrow, everyone, as an FYI!
