Rosalee station has got to be one of my faves. First book written by Mandy when she was 33, with a new born based on her adventures when she was living on a station as a cook.
The two main characters Matt and Sarah are very well put. Said and explained. As well as the farm, you honestly feel like you’re out there with them. Specially if you actually have been/ or live on a farm/ station like that it hits home.
I loved the Irishman stockman. Like the first scene when she looked out the window and saw them ( you’ll have to read to find out) they both were written well and you could just feel there accents.
I also love how the book was opened on a rodeo. And how they had a rodeos later on with Matt as a pro bull rider, gave in another thing I love which made me relate and want to read the book more.
Overall I loved it. Very Aussie and not like some books you find out there when it feels kinda unrealistic. It get real like you were there with them at rosalee.
