My favorite is probably Before Midnight. Then Golden, then Midnight Pearls, then Snow. And the Storyteller's Daughter, and Sunlight and Shadow.
I haven't read the new ones yet, but I am simply in LOVE with Snow. I think that that series is the next on my collecting list. But Snow is amazing. I don't even know why.
My favorites so far are Midnight Pearls and Snow. I didn't like Beauty Sleep as much as I thought I would, which was disappointing since Sleeping Beauty is my favorite fairy tale.
I probably loved Midnight Pearls the MOST. I just collected most of these books, and I'm going to re-read them all in the next month or so. HOORAY! =)
I have too many favorites! So far they are Snow, Wild Orchid, Storyteller's Daughter, Rose Bride and Spirited. I still have a few to read though.
I have to say now, since I've read all of them besides the new-new ones, I love Snow, Water Song, Storyteller's Daughter, Midnight Pearls, and I LOVED Belle. I would've loved Scarlet Moon except the ending sorta creeped me out. ewwwww. (:
no the part where they realize the person aatacking people is her brother and if you go through his thoughts (at the beginning of most chapters) he wants to eat people.
Very good, although I may be kind of biased because Princess and the Pea was always one of my favorite fairytales. :)
And I have to say I love the new covers. I love the old ones, but the new ones are so nice and beautiful. In fact, I want copies of every book with the old and new cover. Yeah, I'm a little wierd, but, oh well.
hi there i just really got into the retellings of fairy tales i have read Wicked and Beastly and Im about to start a Kiss in time. I was wondering what other ones are out there that you would recommend
Hi, Leslie! I just finished "Sisters Red" by Jackson Pearce (retelling of Little Red Riding Hood), and loved it! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who likes fairytale retellings.
I just got and read Violet Eyes: A Retelling of the "Princess and the Pea" last Saturday, and I'll get and read The World Above: A Retelling of "Jack and the Beanstalk" next Saturday. xD
I've got to read Violet Eyes, The World Above, and Diamond Secrets. I'm really excited to read Violet Eyes now though cuz it sounds really good.
It's way cute! (Violet Eyes) I loved it. If you like the other books in the series, I think you'll like this one. xD
I just read The World Above and I loved it! It was super cute. One of my new favorite Once Upon a Time books.
I didn't really get into The World Above. Mostly because I really need to break my awful habit of reading ahead. I think I could finish it now. I really liked it as far as I got. xD
I do sometimes when I can't stand the suspense and just want to know what happens next without reading 20 or so pages.
I hate doing it though because as often as not I don't want to finish the book once I've done it. D;
I used to read a bit of the end of the book i was reading, but i don't do it anymore. I also don't have a favorite book, but i like the Once Upon a Time series in general.
Ok, that was weird. Did anyone else feel like The World Above was both Jack and the Beanstalk
and
Robin Hood?
It was. I liked it, but yeah, kind of weird. They should have done a seperate book about Robin Hood. Maybe they still will, they have two beauty and the beast books. But, I think the two stories fit well together. I really liked The World Above.
