Reading Rainbow (Ends 12/31/10)
Thanks Heather!! I got a little confused.:) I will have to see what I can come up with, but first I will have to figure out what those rainbow colors are. lol
It was partial sarcasm and also an attempt to avoid debates over the indigo issue. "Is this blue or indigo?" seemed like it'd be too much of a pain to deal with so I felt the need to specify.
So I admit I looked up the colors and I saw there was blue and indigo. My first thought was aren't they the same??? But there are tons of books with blue covers so I figured I could just read 2 blue's and call one indigo. :)
So I think that I have figured out my list.Red ~
Orange ~

Yeah, I agree with Darcy. I probably won't be buy it, I'll try to get it from the library (either the actual book or the audio). I liked the first one, but the second wasn't as good. So I'm hoping this one will be a big step up.

I do think the covers are very pretty though.
Haha. Darcy found an indigo book. =)
I just got my green and purple books in from the library. Too bad there's 15 books in line before them. I'm sure I'll go crazy and switch the order though.

I didn't go looking for one, but as I was looking through the books I had just brought home I realized that one was perfect. lol
I'm in too. =) Here's my list so far, although I'm sure it'll change:Red- The Battle of the Labyrinth
Orange- Ballad: A Gathering of Faerie
Yellow-
Green-
Blue- Life As We Knew It
Purple- Beautiful Creatures
I'm new to the group, but loved the idea of this challenge!Red-

Just one question- How do you cross them out once you've read them?
Lani, to cross out you would put <'s'> before what you wanted crossed out and <'/s'> after. (but without the ')

Ballad: The Gathering of Faerie..."Welcome Lani! Have you read
by Courtney Summers? I liked it much more than Cracked Up To Be. It was one of those books that makes you want to yell at the characters while reading it, lol.
Oh, for those of you that don't know...
If you click on some html is ok at the top of your comment box it gives you some of the basic codes that goodreads accepts.

Thank you Jen and Heather! I guess I should explore a little more, lol!Carrie-I put Some Girls Are on my TBR list. I've read Cracked up to Be and liked it, but also enjoy a good yell at a character! If you like that storyline, Just Listen by Sarah Dessen is along those same lines. It sounds like it might be heavier on the romance.
^^ I read Just Listen too. I do like Sarah Dessen, but Courtney Summers is more gritty if you know what I mean.
I'm in on this one...I'll have to go thru my TBR pile to figure out my colors....Green~

Good job Carolyn! I'm trying to prolong mine for some reason that I have yet to figure out. Although, 2 don't come out till later so that only leaves me with one more to finish for now.

I loved Magic study. Although, Poison Study was my favorite. Let me know what you think of it.

I only have one more to go, but I purchased it so it may take me til the end of the year to read it, lol! I have about 6 books that I've bought to read but put aside because of library books.

Heather- I just stared it & so far so good. I read Poison Study a while back & I'm trying to get my brain caught up on who was who & what happened. lol
Darcy wrote: "Wow Carolyn you were fast on this one!!"I was lucky that the books I was grabbing were the right color. This wasn't on purpose. :)
Lani - I have that problem all the time. I need to get to my TBR book, but I keep getting things from the library. I have about 100 books that need to be read and then about 15-30 library books at any given time. I never get to the bought books because of it. That doesn't stop me from buying them though. =)

I agree with you both about the challenges, it definitely makes you read things faster.
You have till the end of the year. No panic.
I'm liking these too. I'll have to make more of them. As we all start to finish these two I'll add another one.

My list just happened to fall into place. I had most of the books on my immediate TBR list, so it's been fairly easy. I just got lucky...
