You're nominations for the Jan. 2011 group read are welcome at any time. We'll be accepting nominations until the 24th, and then we'll poll the group, and announce the winner on the 29th, thanks!
And the winner is.....Breaking Chance by Kim Knox. This is an ebook. I'm not sure if its available in other formats or not. I'm to purchase this one myself right now!
I'll probably still read Shades of Dark next month if anyone wants to read with me, but maybe I'll read Breaking Chance too. :)
NU - I will read shades of dark with you (actually will be listening to it)I have Breaking Chance in my TBR pile so will read that too

Nichole,
How do you lend things on a Kindle? I had heard something about that but have no specifics.
Carolyn, Before I got my kindle I had the kindle ap for iphone and I have the Kobo app from Borders on my computer. Both of those are free and easy to install and work fine.
The announcement was just made today.....www.amazon.com/kindle-lending
I have actually e-mailed amazon to find out if lending is a one time deal per book (a few months ago using the nook app I loaned a book out and found out I could never lend it again it was a one shot per book deal...)
Thanks Nichole,I just read the page you quoted. It does sound like you can only ever loan a book once. Let us know what you find out.
over at the kindle group I was just told you can lend a book more then once just not to the same person......

Back on topic - I just bought my copy of Breaking Chance. So far so good but I'm only about 5 pages in.
I do have a Sony e-reader. So I think it's possible for me to download if you're able to share Nichole. Thanks so much if you can!
Nu, I'd read Shades of Dark with you but I already read it. I thought it was good. That's why I didn't vote for Linnea's books--I finished both of those.

I've been to buy my copy fron B&N all day, and keep getting redirected back to my wishlist :(
Ugh! My apologies to anyone that I've confused regarding this month's group read. I was so focused on buying
by the same author, that I listed that on our main page instead of
. I've updated it. I guess that's what happens when you have too many books to read, LOL!
I also just finished it. I agree with the other comments. It was good, but I would have liked it a whole lot more if the author had put more time into developing everything (especially the sexual tension). Has anyone read anything else by Kim Knox? If this was more or less what all her books are like, then I probably won't get any more.
Just finished it. Good story, well written, but the ending, too quick! I wanted to read more! I wonder if Ms. Knox will write a sequel.
Just finished! You're all right. I wish it had been longer. It was just on the line for me of "is this too quick to be realistic...or is it okay?" I would have enjoyed staying in this world longer because there are lots of interesting areas that aren't explored much.
I really enjoyed the characters.
