About Colleen Greene

My name is Colleen Greene, and I've been attending RDFC for 2-1/2 years (except for a 6-month stint trying YLF), since getting married in August 2009 to my husband Jeff Greene. Jeff has been a member of RDFC for about 13 years, he's a former Sunday School teacher, and his (now our) kids attend/have attended Friends School since pre-K. I became a member in December 2010. Jeff and I attend Common Bond during 1st service, and the main worship service during 2nd service.

By day, I'm a "techie" librarian and web developer at Cal State Fullerton -- which means I get paid to investigate, play with, and teach emerging technologies (love my job!). In the evenings and on weekends, I enjoy hiking and cooking with Jeff and the kids, doing crafts, researching our family history, and playing with our Beagle.

Until getting married, I spent most of my non-work time singing -- on the worship team at my former/family church and in a 120-member women's a capella show chorus. But, since getting married, I've tried to focus most of my extracurricular time on activities that can include my family, and I've increasingly felt God directing me to different ministry callings.

I look forward to getting to know my fellow RDFC bookworks better!
