Who is your favorite charactors from the book(s)?

just wondering what everyone else's opinion is.
My fav girl charactor is Eowyn because she saves her dad (ok it's actually her uncle) from the Wraith.
My fav boy charactors would havt to be faramir because he's so brave and loyal even when his father sends him out on a hopeless mission!

But I also like Sam and Faramir. :D
And I love the friendship between Legolas and Gimli.

I like Gollum, and I don't care if I'm judged for that. He's such a deep and complex character that I can't help but favour him. He's written so well! I also like Sam because of his loyalty and love to Frodo.
Faramir is my favourite character. He embodies the inner sadness of a rejected child/person marvellously. The love and loyalty and faith in people he portrays is simply beautiful in light of what has happened and still happens to him. Faramir is to me a person who could easily have become a closed-up, distrustful, narrow-minded person. The fact that he chose not to give up on people is to me as strong as the entire Fellowship bonding story. Inner strength in characters, ... love it!
Legolas! And almost all the other elves... Both from the movie and the books
ENTS! I loved the Ents, and they didn't get enough time in the movies. Ents all the way.
I love Aragorn, Sam, and Frodo, it may sound weird but i have a strog emotional connection with all of them whenever i read the books or watch the movie.

Is it weird if I say Gollum? Really like him talking with himself (or other inner self). Second is Sam and then Aragorn and Legolas.

Sam and Gandalf. Sam - because he keeps Frodo sane enough so he could complete his journey into Mordor. Gandalf - because of his coordination of what events. These were the two main character that made everything happen.
Sam is my favorite, so much so that I named my dog Samwise Gamgee, Sam for short. Sam will always be my favorite.
I believe that my favorite character in the books is probably gandalf and radagast(*very very small part)
I really like Eowyn and Faramir, But my all time favorite is Pipin. He is just so funny.

Pretty much all characters who weren't orcs or goblins or just plain evil.
But I've always had a soft spot for Frodo, Gimli, Sam, Gandalf, and Legolas. And Arwen is pretty cool too but now I think I like Eowyn better.

My Favorite character is Boromir; he is a hero with a fatal flaw. He cannot resist the ring but ends up redeeming himself by giving his life to save Frodo.
I actually really like Galadriel even though she's not that visible in the storyline. Also, obviously, I'd have to say Gandalf
I can never answer this question! I love all of them! Faramir, Eowyn, all the Hobbits and Legolas are definitely high up on the list though!
Peregrin the Took, of course. And Eärendil (I always like the poems about him in the books and probably I'll like him more after the Silmarillion) and Gandalf.
I like Gimli and Legolas. Funny together in the books, got ruined in the movies. Man, the movies were bad, the had so much potential and peter Jackson kind of ruined it co paired to the books.
Aragorn, Sam and Faramir! Their loyal and selfless and never give in to the enemy even when everyone said they couldn't possibly win.
Sam!!!!!!! I love Sam so much, and I think he is underappreciated.
From the trilogy as a whole, Sam is my favorite. But if we're talking about The Two Towers specifically, its got to be Treebeard all the way! I think Tolkien would agree with that choice too!
When I first read it as a kid I liked Gimli best. As an adult my vote has changed to Gandalf.

It's difficult to choose between all the awesome characters of a awesome book series.But I think my favourites are Aragorn,Eowyn,Galadriel,Pippin,Legolas and Sam.
