Kim | 2 comments I'm pretty new to reading pulp fiction. I have read Miss Callaghan Comes to Grief, and plan on reading his other novels.

AndrewP (andrewca) | 85 comments I read a great many of his books back when I was a teenager. At that time the ones published in the UK all had black covers with photographs of girls in lingerie, Come Easy - Go Easy by James Hadley Chase but that had nothing to do with why I bought them :)

They are not listed in my GR read books yet as I am working my way backwards entering my books and have only got back to 1990 so far.

Srinivas Veeraraghavan (theseeker) | 30 comments THE best by a distance. Insanely readable. Own almost all his books.

Mark (nevins) Folks, I've not yet read a JHC. Is MISS BLANDISH the place to start, or are there other recommendations? Many thanks--

Mark (nevins) Perfect. Many thanks, Alberto. That BLANDISH was first makes the case for me.
