I'm pretty new to reading pulp fiction. I have read Miss Callaghan Comes to Grief, and plan on reading his other novels.

I read a great many of his books back when I was a teenager. At that time the ones published in the UK all had black covers with photographs of girls in lingerie,
but that had nothing to do with why I bought them :)They are not listed in my GR read books yet as I am working my way backwards entering my books and have only got back to 1990 so far.
Folks, I've not yet read a JHC. Is MISS BLANDISH the place to start, or are there other recommendations? Many thanks--
