This discussion covers The Reverend Jethro Furber’s Change of Heart, Parts 3, 4, & 5, pp. 161 – 221

The Reverend Jethro slowly unfurls his grandiose plans in concert with the unraveling of his borderline-psychotic mind. Sensing an opportunity to redeem himself in the hearts and minds of his flock, Jethro begins his nefarious plot against Omensetter by first flipping the burly blacksmith Mat Watson over to his paranoid view of what evil hath been wrought in their Gilean wilderness.

In Part 4, we get another glory-hole-view of Jethro’s twisted sexuality as he dines with the Gilean ladies. In Part 5, he delivers what he believes to be the linchpin sermon which will grant him spiritual dominion over his parishioners. The big question looming, “Is any of what Jethro perceives really happening? Or do we simply have a front-row seat to the final breakdown of this psychotic preacher?”
