Heartbreaking that anyone would need to feel this way. “What kind of God would create a person of which He so disapproved,” illustrates the backwards logic of so many biblically-based viewpoints in our society today. That a person can be demonized for loving someone of their same gender, and that that demonization can be celebrated as a victory for God, is both shameful and appalling. I love how well articulated this excerpt is, but I hate that it’s necessary.
